acqua di arancio

Some Roman books deal with orange usage both as fruit and flower already during the first century after Christ. Eaten after a meal the fruit was considered a useful mean to help digestion. The flowers were also widely used: they were acknowledged symbols of fertility and love. This water is further enriched with delicately scented orange flower, fennel, rosemary and mauve extracts, to rub off fatigue and weakness from body.
